Geoffrey F. Brackett, 68 Stratham died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the Exeter Hospital.

He was born June 20, 1952 in San Antonio, TX the son of Richard and Jennie Lou Brackett.

Geoffrey was raised in Winchester, MA and attended Winchester High School, he graduated from Huntington School in Boston, MA, was a graduate of Drew University in Madison, NJ, received his MBA from Suffolk University. In 1987 he founded his own CPA firm in Exeter. He resided in Merrimack from 1987-2013 moving to Exeter in 2014 and then retired to Stratham in 2016.

He was the husband of the late Susan A. (Roney) Brackett who died in 2006.

Family members include his partner, Paula Perkins of Stratham, his sons, Richard Brackett of Merrimack and Robert Brackett of Northwood, his mother and stepfather, Webster and Jennie Lou Brockelman of Lincoln MA, his beloved granddaughter Kiera Brackett of Merrimack, his stepbrothers James and wife Catherine Brockelman of Boxford MA, Andrew Brockelman of Methuen MA, and his stepsister, Laura Brockelman of Leominster MA, as well as, many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Rebecca Brackett and his father, Richard Brackett.

Geoff was a member of the Exeter Rotary Club and the Exeter Historical Society. He was a docent at the American Independence Museum, in addition to serving as past treasurer, a past officer of the New England Peer Review Board for accountants and a member of the Society of Cincinnati. He was an avid skier and golf enthusiast, as well as, a history scholar. Geoff loved to travel and learn new things. He especially loved his family and was extremely proud of his sons, Richard and Robert, and granddaughter, Kiera.
