Left town after 9th grade at Lynch Jr High

Went to St. Paul’s School Concord NH through senior year (1971), then to Williams College, Williamstown MA through senior year (1976). Have been in NYC and Long Beach NY since 1976. Tried commercial banking for a year until fired. Began in publishing and worked for several companies, the longest at Hearst Magazines. Formed a media company in 1993, which sold advertising info to many other media, ad agency, and sports companies (ABC, NYT, CBS, Time Inc., Google, Facebook, Twitter, Mullen, Young & Rubicam, Red Sox, Bruins, WSJ, Yankees, etc.). Sold company to Atlanta-based competitor in 2015. Have been writing and recording modern, country, and Broadway music since then. Have been a squash player throughout.

Thought I’d be a writer or diplomat.

I’ve traveled to 80+ countries, with few regrets. Among the most interesting were remote regions in Thailand, Morocco, Bulgaria, China, Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Canada (Newfoundland). Still many places to see, including southern and Eastern Africa, New Zealand…the list is long.
